This
modern window on the left was fitted into an elliptical aperture
in a converted church. A
birthday present for a musician it features a Blue Moon over
the keyboard with Stardust below. The scores for both tunes
'Blue Moon & Stardust' feature, hand painted and fired on
to the English mouth blown Streaky Colour glasses. Designed
by Sarah Chesney.
This
magnificent landing window on the right was designed for a
private residence in County Durham. Based on early Japanese
prints, it incorporates a seasonal theme.
Top
left; spring, and clockwise to winter below. The vivid gold
pink Irises below are Iris Ensata - one of the many forms
of this lovely Japanese Iris found growing by water.
The
window was designed by Sarah Chesney and executed in Hartley
Wood Streaky Colour and French Flashed glasses. The flashed
glass was acid etched then painted and stained.
